Are you ready for this challenge? Well, get your 10p ready because we’re playing Cameltry for the Retrotech 100 arcade 20p challenge at the RT100 Facebook group, this fun arcade game will put your skills to the test.

For those who don’t know, Cameltry is a puzzle game developed and published by Taito back in 1989. The objective of the game is to navigate a ball through a series of mazes by tilting the playing field. Sounds easy, right? Well, think again, because it’s all done against the clock with time reducing obstacles in your way. You can find additional time, and you also have to decide whether to try to get extra points by smashing certain blocks but that will cost you in time too.

The game is known for its difficulty and requires a lot of precision and strategy to master. The game’s levels, or courses, are divided into categories: Training, Beginner, Special, and Expert. However, even the easy levels can be a challenge for beginners so we are playing the Beginner level. I personally use MAMEUI64 and this game uses a mouse or mousepad to emulate the original arcade machines trackball.

So, what’s the challenge? Well, we’re calling on all arcade game enthusiasts to take on the Cameltry challenge. The challenge is simple: try to beat all the levels in one playthrough using only 2 credits or 20p. That’s right, just 20p and no second chances.

But wait, there’s more. We’re also challenging you to record yourself playing the game and post it on the Facebook group RetroTech 100. Show off your skills and challenge your friends to beat your score and all of ours.

So, what do you get if you complete the challenge? Bragging rights, and nothing more.
